Weird Law Still on the Books

According to a law still on the books in Cleveland, Ohio, women aren’t officially allowed to wear patent-leather shoes.

The thinking (if you can really even call it that) is that a man might see the reflection of some oversexed broad’s tufted treasure (which, I guess, wouldn’t be concealed in underwear). Has anyone ever actually tried to catch a reflection in patent leather? Let’s put it this way: If that’s what you depend on to “sneak a peak”, you’re going to be sorely, sorely disappointed. []
